A Review: Applications of the Spectral Finite Element Method

Abstract The Spectral Finite Element Technique (SFEM) has Several Applications in the Sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics, which will be Covered this Review Article. Method is a Variant of Traditional FEM that Makes use Higher Order Basis Functions (FEM). One most Fundamental Numerical Techniques Employed Simulation SFEM, Outperforms Other Terms Faster Convergence, Reduced Diffusion Dispersion Errors, Simplicity Application as well Shorter time Computation. Combines Characteristics Approximating Polynomials Methods. Approach to Discretizing Examined Region Unique mix both Approaches. Combining These Enables Quicker (Spectral) Convergence Solutions, Approximation Polynomial Order, Removal Geometric Constraints on Areas, much Lower Discretization Density Requirements. Methods used Different are Presented Along with Statistical Overview Studies During 2010–2022.
